OUR HISTORY
Our name has changed. The research and product development we began as LANDMASTER continue today.
Our company was established in January 2010 as LANDMASTER JAPAN Co., Ltd. We changed our name to LANDMASTER Co., Ltd. on February 1, 2018, and to NEXT SCIENCE Co., Ltd. on July 18, 2025. These were company-name changes, not the sale of the business to another company.
The research and development, products, technology, intellectual property and product inquiries associated with LANDMASTER now connect to NEXT SCIENCE. This page explains that history and where to find current product information.
| Period | Milestone |
|---|---|
| January 2010 | Established as LANDMASTER JAPAN Co., Ltd., developing our business and product range primarily in the vehicle and machinery fields. |
| August 2013 | ORBITRON development began, focusing on driving quality, including vehicle movement and the feel of the controls. |
| February 2018 | The company name changed from LANDMASTER JAPAN Co., Ltd. to LANDMASTER Co., Ltd. |
| 2018–2019 | Registration of the Japanese patents listed on our company page, recording technologies related to charge reduction, materials, fluids and lubrication. |
| Subsequent product development | Work on the Power Module developed into the Micro Reactor. We continued reviewing materials and structures and evaluating them in real-world driving. |
| July 18, 2025 | The company name changed from LANDMASTER Co., Ltd. to NEXT SCIENCE Co., Ltd., communicating our expanding research areas and business under the NEXT SCIENCE name. |
| 2026 | Product development continued with ZF/ZF-R announcements and the start of Power Module 660 series sales on September 2. Technical explanations, product information and test records were organized on our current official website. |
Individual announcements and product pages give launch dates, sales conditions and discontinuation information for each product. This timeline summarizes the broader development of the company and its products.
ORBITRON development began in August 2013. Alongside peak output and fuel-economy figures, we have studied what users experience: the connection between accelerator input and movement, smoothness and the way the whole vehicle responds.
As we developed the Power Module and Micro Reactor, we reviewed materials and structures and fed information obtained from vehicles in actual use into subsequent development.
Some users report a noticeable change; others say they could not tell the difference. Feedback from real-world driving is valuable, but we distinguish it from numerical comparisons made under consistent conditions.

Our company page lists domestic and international patent titles and registration dates. The six Japanese patents used by ORBITRON also link to the relevant explanations in Technology.
Patents record technology. They do not, by themselves, guarantee the same fuel economy, output or user experience for every product. We present product specifications, the technologies used, and the subjects and results of tests separately.
We changed our founding name, LANDMASTER JAPAN Co., Ltd., to LANDMASTER Co., Ltd. The official announcement dated February 14, 2018, states that the name change took effect on February 1 of that year.
The announcement explains that acquiring the landmaster.co.jp domain the previous year, which had not been available when the company was established, was part of the background to the change.
February 14, 2018 announcement: company-name change (Japanese)
As our perspective expanded beyond vehicles and machinery to the electronic environment, friction and lubrication, combustion and fuel, functional materials, and life and nature, we adopted the NEXT SCIENCE name to communicate our work.
The change does not sever our connection with earlier products or technologies. Customers who purchased products under our former name can contact our current support service. Support for an individual product is considered after confirming its name and condition.
Our current official website and online store is next-science.jp. Check the individual product pages here for prices, availability, instructions and purchase conditions.

ORBITRON product guideFuel-conditioning products selected for gasoline, diesel or kerosene. The current series was developed by improving and building on earlier GERHON products.
GERHON product guideThe GERHON records from the 1980s and 1990s concern tests and product use before our company was established. They are not tests conducted by NEXT SCIENCE at that time. We present them as technical records connected to today's products, with their dates and conditions clearly identified.
Gasoline technical records / Diesel technical records
The Battery Restore PRO verification test concerns that particular liquid and open-type lead-acid batteries. Results from different products are not combined into a single claim of effectiveness.
The former landmaster.co.jp website retains earlier product information, columns and activity records. These provide a record of past specifications and development.
Prices and purchasing information on older pages may differ from current sales conditions. Check the latest product information on next-science.jp before purchasing.
Please provide the product name, approximate purchase date, vehicle or equipment in which it is used, and what you wish to confirm. If you do not know the product name, photographs of its appearance and markings can help identify it.
Start with the ORBITRON product guide or GERHON guide by fuel type. To explore a broader range of applications, use the car, motorcycle and machinery product guide.
Whether you have known us as LANDMASTER for years or are discovering NEXT SCIENCE for the first time, we are organizing this website so you can choose products while checking current specifications, technology and verification records.
This page is based on company-confirmed founding information, our published company page and About NEXT SCIENCE, official company-name change notices from 2018 and 2025, ORBITRON development articles, and the 660 series sales announcement. The timeline uses the effective dates of company-name changes, not the dates the announcements were published.
