To achieve their capabilities, the ZF-7R and ZF-9R employ a dual-cable configuration.
The structure is so complex and high-density that the factory manager in charge of production
has even remarked,
“I don’t want to make these anymore.”
【About the Addition of the ZF-7R】
Initially, the R Specification lineup consisted of
three models: the ZF-4R, ZF-5R, and ZF-9R.
However,
in response to strong requests from many customers who said,
“We want something between the 5R and 9R,”
we have introduced the new ZF-7R.
This model was truly born from the voices of our users.
【The Precedent Set by QUAD 2.0】
In the past, production of our high-end model, the QUAD 2.0, was discontinued after just 10 units due to the unavailability of the special stone used as its primary component.
We are still unable to reproduce the exact same model today.
We have even received requests from former owners to recreate their units, but we were unable to fulfill those requests.
A product is not just about technology; it is also a matter of serendipity regarding the materials available at that time.
Since the QUAD2.0, we have undergone a process of trial and error in an attempt to create something even better for ourselves, and the answer we arrived at after about three years is the current ZF-R series.
【Regarding Raw Materials】
Currently, the supply of some key raw materials from China has been suspended since May of last year.
This is due to China’s restrictions on rare earth exports.
Many of the materials we use are sourced by domestic Japanese manufacturers, who procure rare earths from China and process them into various functional materials.
In other words, the suspension of supply from China is directly affecting the supply chain of domestic material manufacturers as a whole.
At this time, we are managing with our existing inventory, but depending on the supply situation, there is a possibility of:
・Price revisions
・Longer delivery times
・Specification changes
If the supply suspension continues for an extended period, there is no guarantee that we will be able to maintain performance equivalent to the current specifications.
We can only hope that the same thing does not happen with this ZF-R series.
【Regarding Pricing】
Pricing for the ZF-R series is set at market value.
This is because we manufacture these products using the best possible specifications available at that time, without compromising on materials or construction in any way.
Production begins only once a certain number of pre-orders have been secured; we do not maintain a regular stock for sale.
【Serial Number Management】
Starting with this ZF / ZF-R series, we will assign a unique serial number to every product.
This serial number reflects information such as:
・Manufacturing date
・Manufacturing lot
・Specification generation
・Individual identification number
This is not merely an administrative number; it is also a record indicating the material conditions and design philosophy under which the product was manufactured at that specific time.
Precisely because we live in an era where raw material conditions and specification evolution are constantly changing, we felt it was necessary to clearly document the history of each individual unit.
Each unit serves as a “certificate of manufacture” representing the specifications achieved at that point in time.
【ZF-R Series Pre-Order Deadline】
June 4, 24:00
Due to raw material ordering procedures, orders received after the deadline will be processed as part of the first production lot.
The ZF-R Series is a special production model for which raw material orders cannot be placed unless a certain minimum quantity of orders is secured after the pre-order period.
Therefore, for additional orders placed after the initial pre-order period ends, you may be asked to wait until the required number of orders for the next production run is secured.
In some cases, delivery may take a long time.
Please note that this pre-order period applies only to the ZF-R Series.
