What Is ORBITRON? | Product Guide for Cars and Motorcycles

ORBITRON / PRODUCT GUIDE

Enjoy the car you already drive. Start with an ORBITRON product that suits how you use it.

ORBITRON is a technology and product brand offered by NEXT SCIENCE Co., Ltd. Our research focuses on the electronic environment surrounding vehicles and machinery, and on the quality of movement people experience in use, including response to accelerator input, smoothness and vibration.

This page helps you choose by purpose, focusing on devices installed in cars and motorcycles. We distinguish a product's design objectives from what has been observed in measurements and usage records.

What is ORBITRON? Looking beyond peak output to how a vehicle feels in use.

A car's character is not determined by peak output alone. The connection between accelerator input and movement, ease of control at low speeds, vibration, sound and response to the driver's actions also matter in everyday driving.

With its installed ORBITRON devices, NEXT SCIENCE aims to reduce factors that hinder a vehicle's intended movement by focusing on its surrounding electronic environment. The 660 series and Micro Reactor do not modify the engine or rewrite ECU control settings.

We do not claim that installation will always increase horsepower or fuel economy by a fixed percentage. We value distinguishing perceived changes from changes confirmed through measurement.

Start with your vehicle and how you use it.

For kei cars and compact cars

The Power Module 660 series comprises three models designed around the use of small-displacement vehicles. Choose according to your priorities: comfort on commutes and shopping trips, city-driving feel, or a preference for the top specification.

Try it on your own vehicle first

The Micro Reactor Trial is available for motorcycles and small passenger cars. It provides an entry point for first-time users and for those who wish to experience it before considering an eligible full-version product.

Ask about ZF-R and higher-specification options

ZF-R is made to order and offered through individual consultation. Check the specifications, price, purchase eligibility and lead time before considering it. Its sales process differs from that of the generally available 660 series.

What to check before installation

The 660 series is designed to connect to the battery's negative terminal. The Trial model connects to the negative terminal or vehicle grounding point specified in its product instructions. This does not mean that every vehicle can use the same connection point or installation method.

Before purchasing, check the vehicle model, year and model code, terminal shape, installation space, cable length and cable routing. For vehicles with battery sensors, also check the vehicle manufacturer's requirements. Contact us before installation if you cannot determine suitability.

Follow the vehicle and product instructions during installation. Avoid short circuits and contact with hot or moving parts. Do not disassemble the unit.

Repairing a fault and evaluating driving feel are different tasks.

If warning lights, sudden vibration, unusual noises or starting problems are present, prioritize diagnosis and servicing. ORBITRON does not repair worn components or faulty electrical equipment.

Questions before purchasing

Are ORBITRON and Micro Reactor the same thing?

ORBITRON is the technology and product brand. Micro Reactor is one of its product series. Other offerings include the 660 series, setup accessories and maintenance products. Their intended uses and application points differ.

Will every vehicle show the same changes?

No identical outcome is guaranteed. Vehicle specifications and condition, installation conditions, operating environment and the driver's perception differ. When comparing, keep other conditions, such as tire pressure, as consistent as possible.

Is GERHON also ORBITRON?

It is a separate brand. GERHON is a fuel-conditioning product added to fuel and selected according to the fuel used. View GERHON for gasoline, diesel and kerosene

Why are older product pages still available?

We retain information that helps owners check earlier product specifications. Being able to view a page does not mean the product is currently available to buy. Check the discontinued-product and new-series information and the current information on each product page.

Do the Battery Restore PRO test results also demonstrate Micro Reactor effects?

No. A liquid for refillable, open-type lead-acid batteries and a device installed in a vehicle are different products. The Battery Restore PRO test records what happened to batteries after topping up with that liquid and charging.

First, find an option that fits your vehicle.

When contacting us, include your vehicle model, year and model code, the products you currently use, your usual driving conditions and the driving feel you value. We will narrow down the options according to installation conditions and intended use.
