Over 10 Years of Pursuing "Driving Quality" That Cannot Be Expressed by Numbers Alone

In recent years, more and more people have come to know Orbitron by the name "Micro Reactor."

On the other hand, you may also see various reviews and verifications on the internet and video sites.

"I felt the effect."
"I didn't notice any change."
"There was no change in the numbers."

Each of these is a candid opinion from actual users, and we have no intention of denying them.

That is why we want to tell you what Orbitron aims for and what philosophy has guided its development.

Orbitron development began in August 2013.

The history of Orbitron began in August 2013.

From the beginning, what we have consistently aimed for is not just numerical values such as "increasing maximum output by X horsepower" or "improving fuel efficiency by X%."

A natural connection the moment you step on the accelerator.

A sense of unity throughout the vehicle.

A feeling of grip where the tires gently caress the road surface.

Comfort that reduces fatigue even on long drives.

And "a drive that makes you want to keep driving."

We have continued to pursue this kind of "driving quality."

Technology that originated from power modules

The first product created was the "power module."

Power modules were sold until 2021 and continued to evolve while receiving valuable feedback from many customers.

During that development period, eight patents related to the technology were acquired.

These technologies became the foundation for subsequent Orbitron products.

In 2021, the birth of the Micro Reactor with new technology

In 2021, we launched the Micro Reactor, which incorporates new technology.

M1, G1, M-X, G-X, F-X

Further development led to

M1R, G1R

and then

M1R GLi, G1R GLi

We have evolved and received real-world feedback from many owners.

This accumulation of experience has led to our current technology.

GLi was not a finished product; it was "open beta."

October 2025.

We started selling the GLi model, which will be the basis of the new generation ZF series, as an open beta version.

This was not a mindset of selling a completed product.

Actual roads.

Actual car models.

Actual owners.

It was a model whose purpose was to receive a lot of feedback in an environment that could never be replicated in a development lab, and to reflect that feedback in development.

The vast amount of information gathered under different car models, mileage, tires, suspension, and usage environments has become a valuable asset for completing the ZF series, which will be released soon.

In other words, the ZF series is not a product created solely by developers.

It is a Micro Reactor that has been nurtured together with owners across the country.

Both numbers and sensory experience are important.

Recently, there has been a lot of information sharing that analyzes and verifies fuel efficiency and various vehicle data using CAN data.

We do not deny such measurement methods.

Information that can be confirmed numerically is one very effective evaluation method for understanding vehicle conditions.

However, what Orbitron aims for is not a product that rewrites ECU control values or changes only numerical performance.

What we are pursuing is the "driving quality" that drivers actually feel.

For example,

Natural response to accelerator input.

A sense of unity in handling.

Supple movement of the vehicle body.

Improved grip.

Fatigue after long drives.

These include elements that cannot be fully expressed by numbers alone.

In other words, what is important is not the superiority or inferiority of the measurement method.

It is the evaluation axis of "what is being measured for evaluation?"

Numbers that evaluate fuel efficiency, output, etc.

And the feeling and comfort experienced by the driver.

Both are important, but they evaluate different things.

"Only realized after removal" evaluation

What we find particularly striking is the common feedback we receive from many customers.

"I noticed the difference more when I removed it than when I installed it."

"The handling felt heavier."

"Tire noise increased."

"The car felt heavier overall."

"Once I put it back on, it drove pleasantly again."

Also,

"My car, which I've owned for over 11 years, feels the best it ever has right now."

"Long drives have become easier."

"It drives nimbly even with more passengers or luggage."

We have received many such comments.

Of course, we do not guarantee the same changes for everyone.

There are individual differences in vehicle condition, specifications, usage environment, and how things are perceived.

That's why we never assert, "This will definitely happen."

On the other hand, we take each customer's experience and opinion as valuable feedback in product development.

Technology will continue to evolve.

Orbitron is not a brand that finishes with a single product.

Research and development ongoing since 2013.

Technology cultivated with power modules.

8 patents.

The birth of the Micro Reactor.

Vast feedback obtained from the GLi open beta version.

And the new generation ZF series.

All of these are milestones for further enhancing "driving quality."

We will continue to pursue value that cannot be fully expressed by numbers alone.

And we will continue to evolve our technology while listening to our customers' voices.

Taking driving quality even further.

That is Orbitron's unchanging development philosophy since 2013.
