■ABOUT NEXT SCIENCE
Unlocking unseen potential through science.
NEXT SCIENCE is a company that focuses on "underutilized potential" in various fields such as mobility, machinery, energy, materials, animals, and plants, and conducts research, development, and commercialization.
What we see is not just what is visible.
Electronic environment.
Friction.
Combustion.
Lubrication.
Materials.
And the workings of life and nature.
At first glance, these might seem like completely different fields.
But the underlying philosophy is the same.
Instead of forcibly adding something to change things, we find and address the factors that impede the inherent power of something, and then adjust it.
From there, we unlock new possibilities.
That is NEXT SCIENCE's research and development.
Science Beyond the Visible.
Beyond what is seen.
■OUR PHILOSOPHY
Towards the ideal state.
Cars.
Machinery.
Animals.
Plants.
The subjects differ.
The required technologies also differ.
However, what we consider first is always the same.
"Isn't it possible for them to function more naturally?"
Improving performance.
Increasing numerical values.
Adding something.
It's not just about that.
Reducing what causes resistance.
Adjusting what is out of balance.
Unlocking what is dormant.
As a result, it approaches its original state.
We value this philosophy.
Toward Their Intended State.
■MOBILITY & ENERGY
Considering cars and machinery from unseen domains.
The performance of automobiles and machinery is not solely determined by component precision or design.
Friction.
Electrification.
Combustion state.
Lubrication state.
Electrical environment.
These less visible factors also affect the overall condition of the machine.
At NEXT SCIENCE, we perceive these not as individual problems, but as the overall condition of the machine.
Born from this research are product lines such as:
ORBITRON
Gerhon
Battery Revive
Battery Restore Pro
Our goal is not simply "performance enhancement."
Response.
Smoothness.
Combustion.
Efficiency.
Ease of use.
It's about more naturally bringing out the inherent state of the machine.
This is our approach in this field.
■LIFE & NATURE
Life and nature also have unknown workings.
Our research subjects are not limited to machinery.
Animals and plants also have workings that are not yet fully understood.
Environment.
Water.
Minerals.
Materials.
Trace elements.
Various influences from the surroundings.
Small differences can affect the overall condition.
At NEXT SCIENCE, we develop products while respecting the inherent vitality and natural functions of animals and plants.
German Power for Animals
German Power for Plants
were also born from this philosophy.
Not forcing change.
Utilizing inherent qualities.
Even if the subjects differ from the machinery field, the fundamental philosophy remains unchanged.
■MATERIALS & TECHNOLOGY
Designing unseen functions from materials.
Technology is not determined by form alone.
Metals.
Minerals.
Carbon materials.
Ceramics.
Catalysts.
Oils and fats.
Chemical materials.
How to combine the physical and chemical properties inherent in the materials themselves.
Therein lies the scope for technological development.
At NEXT SCIENCE, we not only use existing materials as they are but also consider their combinations, structures, arrangements, and processing methods.
SPIN
Titanium parts
Smart Earth
Ferrite Core
are also extensions of this material research and technological verification.
■RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Because there are no answers, we experiment.
Many of the themes we deal with do not have ready-made answers from the outset.
Therefore, we formulate hypotheses.
We create.
We measure.
We break.
We create again.
Sometimes the results are not what we expected.
In fact, that's more often the case.
However, tests that don't yield results also have meaning.
Because they tell us "what doesn't work."
At NEXT SCIENCE,
Chemistry
Physics
Materials
Electronic environment
Friction
Combustion
Lubrication
We conduct interdisciplinary research and development and technological verification in areas such as these.
The purpose of research is not to neatly organize theories.
It is to create practical technology.
■ORBITRON
One of our flagship research achievements.
When discussing NEXT SCIENCE's research and development, Orbitron is indispensable.
However, Orbitron is not the company itself.
It is one technology that embodies our philosophy.
Its starting point was:
"Isn't there unseen resistance in machinery?"
That was the question.
When machinery moves, friction is generated.
When friction occurs, electrification also occurs.
Its effect is extremely small and usually ignored.
But can it really be ignored?
From there, the research began.
■THE BEGINNING
March 11, 2011.
An event occurred that significantly changed the direction of development.
The Great East Japan Earthquake.
After the earthquake, during work involving damaged vehicles, I had the opportunity to encounter vehicles in unusual conditions.
During that time,
Engine feel.
Vibration.
Accelerator response.
There were cases where I felt inexplicable differences.
Was it a coincidence?
Was it the influence of the environment?
Was it the material?
Was it an electrical phenomenon?
From here, a long verification process began.
■QUESTION EVERYTHING
Don't take common sense as the answer.
In the research at that time, various physical phenomena, including radiation, were considered.
The word "radiation" carries a strong image of danger.
That is natural.
On the other hand, it is utilized as technology under controlled conditions, such as in medicine and inspections.
What was important was not simply deciding "good or bad,"
but confirming "what acts, under what conditions, and how."
From there, the research expanded to electrons, electrification, materials, and faint physical phenomena.
■FROM HYPOTHESIS TO TECHNOLOGY
Turning the unseen into technology.
During the research, we focused on the state of electrification occurring in vehicles and machinery.
Without using external power.
Continuously.
Without requiring significant manipulation.
Is there a way to act on the electronic environment surrounding machinery?
Natural minerals.
Metals.
Catalysts.
Carbon materials.
We experimented with various materials and structures.
There were many failures.
Even if it worked once, it couldn't be replicated.
It was different in other cars.
Changing materials changed the results.
It was a constant cycle of that.
What was needed then was measurement and systematization.
■VERIFICATION
Intuition alone does not make technology.
"I feel like it changed."
That alone cannot make a product.
Therefore, we have conducted measurements and safety checks by external institutions.
Measurements at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute, etc.
Research with universities.
Safety evaluations.
Patent applications.
It took time and money.
But it was necessary.
To preserve what began with intuition as technology.
■ORBITRON IS NOT THE END
The technology is still in progress.
From the research into Orbitron, other themes also emerged.
Combustion.
Lubrication.
Batteries.
Metals.
Materials.
Animals and plants.
One research leads to another.
That is why NEXT SCIENCE's current business scope is broad.
We didn't set out to create many different products from the start.
As we pursued questions, our field expanded.
■OUR APPROACH
Even if the fields differ, what we do is the same.
Question.
Investigate.
Create.
Test.
Observe the results.
And if necessary, change our thinking.
We do not consider adhering to initial hypotheses to be research.
If the results differ, we change direction.
If there is no effect, we accept that as a result.
From there, we consider the next step.
That accumulation is NEXT SCIENCE.
■SCIENCE BEYOND THE VISIBLE.
There are still things unseen.
There are still things unused.
There are still things unexplained.
That is why we research.
If the answer is known from the start, there is no need for research.
NEXT SCIENCE poses questions in the less visible realms and transforms them into practical technologies.
Towards the ideal state.
And beyond.
