RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Technology becomes technology only when it is put to the test.
NEXT SCIENCE's research and development does not start with a predetermined answer.
"Why does this happen?"
"Can it be improved?"
"Is this approach truly correct?"
It all starts from there.
Formulate a hypothesis.
Create.
Test.
Measure.
Compare.
If it's different, go back.
If there are no results, document that fact as well.
We do not selectively pick convenient results and call it research.
Bringing what was conceived with technology into experiments and actual machines, and verifying the changes that occur there.
That is NEXT SCIENCE's Research & Development.
FROM QUESTION TO HYPOTHESIS
Research Begins with Discrepancies.
New technologies aren't always sparked by grand ideas.
"Why is only this part different?"
"What happens if I change the conditions?"
"Why do the results change even though the structure is the same?"
Research can begin with such small discrepancies.
It's not about disproving existing theories.
Conversely, it's not about accepting things simply because they are common knowledge either.
First, observe the phenomenon.
Then, form a hypothesis from there.
Think, then create.
Hypotheses alone tell us nothing.
Change the materials.
Change the structure.
Change the dimensions.
Change the combinations.
Change the mounting location.
We create prototypes while varying conditions one by one.
Instead of aiming for a perfect product from the start,
we identify:
"What is working?"
"What is not working?"
By accumulating small differences, the outlines of the technology gradually become clear.
TESTING IN THE REAL WORLD
Don't just stop at the lab.
Even if a change occurs in the laboratory, the same result may not be achieved in an actual operating environment.
That's why NEXT SCIENCE emphasizes verification with actual equipment.
Automobiles.
Motorcycles.
Industrial machinery.
Fuel.
Lubrication.
Metal parts.
Materials.
We verify under actual operating conditions, depending on the subject.
Temperature.
Load.
Rotation.
Vibration.
Driving.
Time.
Results change if the operating environment changes.
Observing those differences is also part of our research.
MEASUREMENT & COMPARISON
Neither intuition nor numbers alone are sufficient.
In actual machine testing, there are changes that people perceive.
Smoothness.
Responsiveness.
Vibration.
Sound.
Feel of operation.
On the other hand, these alone cannot be preserved as technology.
We take numerical values as needed.
Temperature.
Voltage.
Current.
Resistance.
Fuel properties.
Friction.
Fluidity.
Dimensions.
Weight.
And other indicators necessary for that technology.
However, we do not believe that everything can be understood by looking at numbers alone.
Changes that appear in numerical values.
Changes when actually used.
We make judgments while observing both.
Battery Restore PRO: Verification Test and Use Report
On June 19, 2026, terminal voltage was measured on 130F51 lead-acid batteries scheduled for disposal after adding the standard formulation and rapid-charging for 20 minutes. Unit No. 1 changed from 1.93 V to 11.87 V, and Unit No. 2 from 2.35 V to 11.87 V.
Only units No. 1 and No. 2 are used to evaluate the marketed formulation. Units No. 3 and No. 4 used a non-commercial dilute-sulfuric-acid test formulation and are excluded. The test does not establish or guarantee like-new performance, capacity, starting performance or long-term durability.
The report sets out the conditions, measured results, evaluation limits and role of routine electrolyte-level maintenance.

GERHON: Historical Test and Use Records by Fuel Type
The current GERHON Fuel Conditioning products for gasoline and diesel were developed through improvements to the earlier GERHON product. To explain their technical background, selected historical test and use records with favorable measurements are presented separately for gasoline and diesel. Laboratory measurements and field-use reports are distinguished.
The reported figures were obtained using the products and test or operating conditions at that time. They do not guarantee the same rate of change with current products or the same results for every vehicle or application.
Gasoline: 1985 10-mode tests and 1993 used-oil analysis
Repeated measurements on one gasoline vehicle recorded fuel economy changing from 9.9 to 12.3 km/L, with lower CO, HC and CO2 values. A separate used-oil analysis compared samples after 10,000 km of driving before and after use.

Future Addition Criteria
In the future, we will continue to add test year/month, subject, method, measurement items, confirmed findings, limitations, and related materials in the same order. Even tests where no change was confirmed will be retained if they can be disclosed.
EXTERNAL VERIFICATION
Don't limit yourself to in-house capabilities.
For necessary tests, we request verification from external or specialized institutions.
In-house testing alone may lack objectivity.
Some tests require specific equipment.
Others need to be measured according to specific standards.
In such cases, we utilize third-party facilities and judgment.
At NEXT SCIENCE,
we differentiate between what can be verified in-house
and what should be verified externally.
This is to ensure that research results are not merely based on our own satisfaction.
FAILURE IS DATA
Record even unsuccessful results.
In research, things often don't go as expected.
No effect is observed.
The difference is small.
Changing the conditions yields the opposite result.
It cannot be reproduced.
If we discard these results, we will only repeat the same mistakes.
Therefore, we treat failed experiments as valuable information.
"Under these conditions, there is no change."
That is also a valid answer.
From there, new hypotheses emerge.
Technology is not built solely on successful outcomes.
REPRODUCIBILITY
Do not conclude after a single occurrence.
A change occurred once.
That alone is not enough.
Will it happen if the conditions are changed?
Will it happen with a different subject?
Will it continue over time?
Will it be reproducible no matter how many times it is tried?
We will confirm this.
Not all phenomena can be perfectly reproduced.
That is why,
What is reproducible,
And what is condition-dependent?
We search for that boundary.
FROM RESEARCH TO PRODUCT
Research is what happens until a product is made.
Even if research shows a change, it doesn't automatically become a product.
Is it safe to use?
Can it be manufactured consistently?
What about individual differences?
What about durability?
Is its use practical?
Is the cost viable?
Can it be explained?
Can the same quality be maintained after sales?
Something being technically interesting and something being viable as a product are two different things.
Only those that overcome these hurdles become actual products.
ORBITRON.
GERHON.
SPIN.
German Power.
Functional parts.
These, too, have taken shape through repeated research and testing.

COLLABORATION
Depending on the research subject, we conduct tests with other companies and experts.
Manufacturing sites.
Processing sites.
Automobiles.
Industrial machinery.
Materials.
Fuels.
Each of these fields has insights that only those who have been involved in them for a long time can understand.
NEXT SCIENCE does not intend to find solutions alone.
We combine on-site knowledge with our hypotheses.
From this synergy, new technologies sometimes emerge.
ACADEMIC COLLABORATION
Universities and Actual Research
NEXT SCIENCE's research is not something that is completed solely within the company.
During our time as Landmaster Co., Ltd., we collaborated with researchers from the Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University on research using Asai organic germanium.
On September 21, 2023, at the "Japan Poultry Science Association 2023 Autumn Meeting" held at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, we jointly presented "Effects of in ovo administration of Asai organic germanium on broiler hatchling immune function and fatty acid oxidation capacity."
The presenters were Yoshiyuki Ota, Toshihisa Kanemitsu, Etsuko Hasegawa, and Junichi Shiraishi. In the official program of the Japan Poultry Science Association, Toshihisa Kanemitsu's affiliation is listed as "Landmaster."
This research targets broilers and does not indicate effects on humans or the efficacy of specific products.
Rather than deciding something is "good" by ourselves, we collaborate with universities and experts when necessary to investigate and bring the research to a publishable form. This approach continues even now, after the transition from Landmaster to NEXT SCIENCE.

OUR R&D PRINCIPLE
Don't decide on the conclusion beforehand.
What we value is not proving a hypothesis.
It is confirming a phenomenon.
If the hypothesis is wrong, we change it.
If there are no results, we sometimes stop.
If a different phenomenon appears, we start thinking again from there.
Research is not about defending an initial answer.
We believe it is about gradually transforming the unknown into the known.
RESEARCH NEVER STOPS
Even after completion, it's not over.
Research continues even after a product is made.
Materials change.
Processing technologies change.
Operating environments change.
New measurement methods emerge.
Things that were previously unknown can become apparent later.
That's why we review completed products.
If necessary, we remake them.
NEXT SCIENCE's Research & Development
is not research that ends with an answer.
It is research that continually asks questions.
Science Beyond the Visible.
Beyond what is seen.
