Cloud point tests were performed for the Gasoil Gellhorn.

At Next Science Co., Ltd., we regularly conduct various tests to verify the condition and properties of our products.

This time, we conducted a comparative test of the Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP) between diesel fuel with the specified amount of Gerhon for Diesel added, and diesel fuel without any additive.

What is the Cold Filter Plugging Point?

When diesel fuel is exposed to low temperatures, some of its components can precipitate, making it difficult for the fuel to pass through the fuel filter. The Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP) is one of the indicators used to check this state.

This test was measured in accordance with JIS K 2288.

How we view this test

This test was not conducted to exaggerate the effects of Gerhon for Diesel.

It is a test to verify what the measured values look like when the specified amount is added to actual diesel fuel.

The results will vary depending on the properties of the diesel fuel used, storage conditions, ambient temperature, and other factors. We cannot claim that the same changes will occur for all diesel fuels or in all usage environments based solely on these figures. Furthermore, this test did not evaluate fuel economy, power output, cold-start performance, or exhaust gas emissions.

Nevertheless, there is significance in performing actual measurements.

When explaining a product, subjective accounts are not enough. If it can be measured, we measure it. Regardless of whether the result is large or small, we confirm the figures. At Next Science, we accumulate such tests on a daily basis.
